Montpellier is a picturesque, medieval city in southern France Occitania region. It’s a compact city, making it easy to explore on foot. The streets of Montpellier city feature wonderful historic architecture and handsomely cobbled streets.
Toulouse is in the Occitanie region and is referred to as ‘La Ville Rose’ or The Pink City, for its many pink-hued brick buildings. It isn’t a particularly large city, but it does have a lovely historic city centre with some beautiful Gothic architecture.
