Chamonix in the French Alps is an amazing place to visit for a winter ski vacation. Not only is it cheaper than the Swiss Alps, but they also have a wide range of ski areas to choose from which cater to all abilities. I also loved the it was easy to get around without needing to hire a car. There is regular transport to the slopes and attractions. The entire city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage site and has lots of wonderful historic buildings and architecture to see including, the famous Roman Baths, the Circus and Crescent, the Assembly Rooms, and museums such as The Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery.

Castle Combe – The Prettiest Village in England
