How to Spend a Day in Warsaw

Warsaw is often overlooked by visitors for the more popular city of Krakow, but this amazing city has lots to see and do. Destroyed during the Second World War, Warsaw was completely rebuilt in keeping with the historical styles. Highlights include the Royal Castle, the historic old town and market square, and the opportunity to learn more about their Soviet occupation and the Nazi Holocaust.

Bird and Seal Watching on the Farne Islands

It’s been on my bucket list to see Puffins for some time, so we headed to the Farne Islands in Northumberland which are famous for its grey seals and nesting seabirds. We took a boat tour around the islands and landed in Inner Farne to get a close up of the puffins, kittiwakes, fulmars, guillemots, razorbills, sandwich terns, common terns, shags and eider ducks.
